Oil Prices - Optimistic future ?

They are talking about oil prices going down to $50 in a few years. I am all hopes for that. :thumbup:
We will probably see more and more alternative car technologies before that happens than. Airplnaes will follow the trend shortly. They are already experimenting with bio fuels for jets, hybrid prop planes and other alternative technologies to propel aircraft. :fly:

Yeap, Forbes magzine expect oil prices to dive down to $50.

Another optimistic view of oil price future

Get Ready for The Oil-Price Drop by Alan Reynolds

People who have been predicting both a nasty US recession and $200 oil prices are contradicting themselves.

In April, industrial production also fell in India and China. Shrinking industry around the world shrinks demand for energy in general - and for oil in particular.

In short, Reynolds says that the economic slowdown created by the increased oil prices is also the thing that will bring the oil prices back down. The reduction in demand for oil will eventually help bring a lower price at the pump.
