Hi,
i am Edsel Miranda, i have just finished my commercial pilots and need some assistance in drawing up a covering letter to send to the airlines for job applications.
if you guys could please tell me what exactly goes into a covering letter, or give me ideas it would be great as this will be my first job ... looking forward to your replies..

Hi,
first, congratulations for getting your commercial pilot license.

A cover letter that you write for the airlines does not have to be much different than a cover letter that acompanies your resume for any other kind of job.
I would start by shortly introducing myself and provide a brief description of my aviation background. Tell them how you heared of them and why you are interested in the job with that specific company.

hello Brother and Sisters

My name is (anonymous) , Currently i am undergoing a commercial pilot's training. This training has costed me $60000 which was financed by my parents. My parents took a personal loan for me in their name by puting our house on Mortgage and now i am almost at the end of my training . I have done my private pilot and instrument pilot rating, the only rating which is left is my commercial pilot's rating , after which i can apply for job and start paying back .

But to complete this rating i need another $5000 to deposite in my flight school as i have to rent and fly a plane for 10 hours for commercial instruction , the plane costs $275/hour and after that multiengine rating which require 10 hours more , the multi engine rent costs $300/hour.

Please please , i am in big trouble, I am an indian citizen from a middlen class indian family.When I came to USA i was very happy , i had many dreams ,i dreamed of taking gifts back for my mom , dad and my younger brother, i thought that by depositing $60,000 was enough for my course , but my school owner tricked me by taking money for false faults in the airplane(i recogonised this later when i became a proficient pilot) .

Now i don't have money to eat , i can take back nothing for my family who helped me

I cannot bear these happenings, for some times i was sucidal , even now i think of suciding , but my family cannot bear the pain of loosing me and this is against god(i love you god-i cannot go against you).

i am just young teenager, i was happy that i was making my future in Aviation and standing on my legs, but my lega are broken now.

i have only 2 days to arrange the money , otherwise i will sell my heart or kidney to generate $60,000 and make my parents benefisery for this money, withoyut telling my parents , i am ready to sell my parts.

I am a geniune person , i you will help me i will pay you back , and you have to accept that, even if it is $1, i you want to help me please
