Hello. I'm currently a student at UNC-W, but looking to start flight training as soon as I graduate, in about 6 months. I already have my private pilot's license, but my medical is expired, and my BFR is way overdue. So, I'm going to need some refresher training. Instead of flying for the airlines like most, I'd actually like a career in fractionals. The way I understand it, fractionals provide scheduling like the airlines, but the flying is a lot more varied. I really like the idea of non-routine flying. My question is this; what program do I look at in a flight school, and are there any schools tailored to a career in the fractionals? Basically, what's my best route to a first officer seat? I know most big flight schools offer programs where you can hire on to an airline after school, but I haven't seen this same sort of thing for fractionals. Does it exist? And if not, what's my best option. Any and all help and advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
