AHH, Pilot Cafe. You do not need to go to school to be a FA.

yes you do. Go to http://www.bestaviation.net/flight_attendant_school and you'll find a bunch of them.

Rosy, You did not give your location, but in the US aspiring F/As do NOT need to go to any flight attendant school to get an airline job!

For anyone desiring a career with an airline, such a school is a rip off.

Every airline trains each new hire by their FAA approved syllabus for 6-8 weeks. There is no need to go to any 'flight attendant' school to get a job. You can get all the information you need on the net about what to expect, who is hiring, what the interview is like and everything else you want to know. Check out:

http://www.aviationinterviews.com

http://www.flightattendants.org
(With an "S" on the end, the singular version is a F/A school site!)

Read "Welcome Aboard: Your career as a Flight Attendant by Becky S. Bock. It can be had for $15 at Amazon.com

If someone is wanting a career as a corporate F/A, specialized bizjet training can be of assistance in landing a job. As without F/A certification, hey can oly be 'hostesses' and many companies prefer F/As who have been specialy trained. These training programs ARE NOT the same as the ones aimed at airline F/As.

Here is a message board to ask questions about corp F/As:
