Accelerated Flight Instructor Course in Colorado

Postby russellaviation on Fri Sep 10, 2004 3:18 pm GMT

In only 9 days you could be a Certified Flight Instructor. Training stops include Aspen and Leadville (highest airport in North America).

All flight training is done in complex aircraft. You will also be trained in mountain and canyon flying during your flight training. This is a true adventure you will remember for a lifetime.

The Flight Instructor certificate allows individuals to provide training to students and pilots. The CFI certificate has been long considered the hardest certificate to obtain, the flight instructor certificate is a mark of distinction that few pilots ever attain.

Course Information:

Our exciting Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor flight training course is our only business. It is designed for people who place a high value on their time and quality of training. This course is for pilots who don't have the luxury of being able to commit several weeks learning to become a flight instructor.

Many successful personalities and executives recognize the value of a personal trainer in achieving maximum performance. To ensure you obtain the greatest benefit from your flight training, we believe your instructor must, in many ways, become your personal trainer. As a result, unlike the other "accelerated flight schools," our Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor course doesn't pack you in with a bunch of other students. Throughout the course, your instruction will take place in a relaxed setting. In essence, your instructor will be your personal trainer.

As a full-time CFI trainee, you should plan on at least 8 days of concentrated effort. You will meet with your instructor each day. When not with your instructor, you will be studying -- up to 4 hours a day. You will fly 10 or more hours and should plan to be at the airport 6-8 hours per day. The key to success in such an effort is complete focus on the activity and an open dialogue with your instructor. In addition to training for your check ride, you'll enjoy spectacular scenery and gain valuable experience by flying and training away from your local airport in a variety of flight conditions.

All flight time is in a complex aircraft. Cross-country flights will be interesting as we fly to scenic locations in the Rocky Mountain of Colorado: Take your pick of destinations such as Aspen, where you will see the beautiful Maroon Bells and share the airport with celebrities, or Leadville, where you can experience her majestic scenery from above and land at the highest airport in North America.

Mountain Flying - "Don't just be a 'flatlander' pilot"

After several years of teaching the ATP and multi-engine rating to 1000+ hour pilots, Mickey Russell the President of Russell Aviation discovered that they were lacking in one area. The confidence of flying long distances from one end of the country to the other and mountain flying experience. Most had never flown in the mountains, only in the "flatlands" and in their local area. With our accelerated certified flight instructor course, you will most of your time flying in the mountains. Once you complete your training, you will be competent and confident to fly from one end of our great country to the other.

Our Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor course is designed to include an introduction to mountain and canyon flying and to promote safety of flight operations in the mountains. This is a strong foundation on which a instructor can begin to incorporate and teach the techniques of safe mountain and canyon flying anywhere in the county.

Finally:

If you're looking for a quick and easy way to earn a piece of paper that says "Certified Flight Instructor" our course is probably NOT for you. Our Accelerated Certified Flight Instructor Course is designed to produce a truly competent, proficient and experienced instructor. Our training is designed for the pilot who is seriously planning to fly for the airlines or to operate as a professional Certified Flight Instructor.
