Virgin Atlantic will test fly one of its Boeing 747 aircraft on biofuel on February 2008, 10 months earlier than planned.

The flight, which will take place between London-Heathrow and Amsterdam, is a result of a colaboration between the airline, Boeing, General Electric and Virgin Green Fund. Virgin will only announce details about the fuel next month. The announcements comes at times of increasing oil prices and wide concern for global warming.
