Maxjet airways stopped all operations and filed for chapter 11 on the 24th of December 2007.

Founded 2003, Maxjet operated five Boeing 767-200 airplanes configured entirely for business class. Ticket prices were generally lower than comparable business class seats on mixed-class competitors. The former destinations of the airline were: Las-Vegas (KLAS), New-York (KJFK), Los-Angeles (KLAX) and London Stansted (EGSS).

Maxjet claims that the increasing fuel prices made it impsosbile for them to remain in business. To read the official press release visit Maxjet.com
