Investigators are now narrowing down the reasons for British Airlines Boeing 777 accident at London's Heathrow airport, on January 17 2008.

The wide body jet crashed about only 1000 feet short of runway 27L at Heathrow after it was having engine problems on final approach. One passenger out of 152 occupants sustained serious injury from the crash.

The investigation is now pointing at a possible fuel system icing problem. Although the final report and conclusions of the accident are not final yet, the findings are leading to a new procedure which will require 777 pilots to cycle the thrust levers prior to landing to prevent ice buildup.
