jetBlue delays order of 21 Airbus jets

jetBlue announced that they will put off an order for 21 Airbus A320. The airplanes were originally scheduled for delivery between 2009 through 2011. They are now planned for delivery between 2014 through 2015.
Dave Barger, JetBlue's CEO said on Tuesday "The aircraft deferrals we announced today will help us further moderate our growth rate in 2009 and beyond, which will enhance liquidity and defer future debt obligations."
As most other U.S.-based airlines, jetBlue is currently slowing its growth and is not hiring new pilots.
